In more recent years (honestly since my kids didn't want the 3D Valentines anymore) I've been trying to find non-candy Valentines. I figure they get enough junk as it is, and I try to find something different. I've done Legos, squishys, fidgets, glow sticks, etc. And this year we found the cutest non candy Valentines!

If you have kids in late elementary to middle school - you may have heard about "emotional support pals". They are apparently all the rage, and they can be anything from a cow to a pickle to a potato.

In fact, one day when my son was having a sad day at school, his teacher gifted him a "positive potato" to cheer him up and it has become one of his prized possessions and earned a coveted spot on his nightstand - right next to his George Washington statue and coconut cup (IYKYK).

This year a good friend of mine (who knows my kids all too well) sent me a link for emotional support nugget valentines. I showed the kids, and they LOVED them, so I went ahead and bought enough for both of their classes, and they are just as cute as I expected!

Not only are they super cute and small enough to put in their backpack or pocket when they need some "emotional support" - they also come with some adorable cards that look like little nugget boxes and have funny nugget themed taglines (I love a good theme!)

Want some emotional support valentine? Here is the link for the nuggets as well as some other adorable ideas as well!
